WE CONNECT THE DOTS
YOU CHANGE THE GAME
Arq by Allyvate helps organizations move what matters.
We work across health, social protection, migration, and humanitarian settings to design processes, strategies, and solutions that bring focus, connection, and momentum where systems meet complexity.

OUR WHAT
Our work supports alignment, learning, and movement across systems. We focus on four interconnected areas:

Facilitation & Strategic Alignment
We design and lead participatory processes that help teams navigate complexity, align on purpose, and move forward together. Our work bridges the gap between intention and action through facilitation, sensemaking, and adaptive strategy.

Research, Evaluation & Learning
We generate actionable evidence to inform real-world decisions — through scientific research, applied studies, participatory evaluation, GIS and systems-informed learning. Our work uses traditional and nontraditional data to advance equity and continuous improvement.

Implementation & Prototyping
We co-develop and test early-stage programs with communities, turning insights into grounded, adaptive initiatives. Our work supports implementation in complex or transitional settings with care and clarity.

Collaborative Infrastructure
We offer shared services that support cross-sector and cross-border collaboration — from light-touch operational management to hosting platforms and mobilizing partnerships for mission-aligned efforts.
The arc behind Arq — why we exist.
At Arq by Allyvate, we believe change doesn’t move in straight lines. It arcs — through complexity, tension, and trust.
We started Arq because across our global health and development work — from health systems in conflict zones to grassroots networks and funder collaborations — we kept seeing a pattern:
Well-meaning efforts stalled between strategy and reality.
Collaborations struggled to find alignment.
Change processes outpaced ability to adapt.
And again and again, we noticed the same need:
Space. Clarity. Connection. Trust.
We created Arq to respond to that need.
OUR WHY
We chose the name “Arq” because change doesn’t move in straight lines — it arcs through complexity, contradiction, and the often unseen, nonlinear work of transformation.
The name is a play on the word “arc,” evoking movement and momentum, while also honoring Ah Q, the satirical protagonist of Lu Xun’s novella — a figure shaped by denial, defiance, and resilience in the face of oppressive systems.
In reclaiming his story, we recognize that meaningful change is rarely heroic or tidy. It is human, imperfect, and deeply shaped by context.
Arq by Allyvate stands with those navigating that arc — walking the tension between humility and resistance, and moving what matters, even when the path isn’t clear.
THE NAME “ARQ”

We work in the messy middle — where systems meet stories, where clarity is still forming, and where the most meaningful shifts are often still invisible.
OUR HOW
What we offer isn’t always loud or linear — but it helps people move what matters.
We design and hold processes that help people move together.
We support learning and reflection when the way forward is uncertain.
We strengthen the connection between ideas, action, and values.
Some teams call us when there’s tension they cannot quite name.
Some ask us to listen, facilitate, or reflect what is already unfolding.
Some invite us in when it is time to realign or rethink direction.
We are not traditional consultants. We are quiet catalysts.

WHO WE WORK WITH
From grassroots to global, our partnerships are grounded in respect and shared purpose.
WHERE WE WORK
Where policy meets daily life, we help commitments take root in communities.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND ARQ
We are a small, steady team shaped by fieldwork, facilitation, research, and care. Some of us come from policy rooms. Some from borders and community halls. All of us believe in doing the quiet work that helps others move forward. We are not here to lead from the front. We walk alongside — as facilitators, listeners, and learning partners.
